Growing up in the hood, Tia Ross faced challenges that most could only imagine. Her childhood was marked by the harsh realities of drugs being cooked around her, prostitution on the corner, and the constant gnawing of hunger. She witnessed the devastating impact of poverty and crime on her community firsthand, but instead of succumbing to the negativity, Tia used these experiences as fuel to ignite her determination to create a better future for herself.
Despite the hardships, Tia’s spirit remained resilient. She refused to let her circumstances define her and instead channeled her energy into her studies, dreaming of a different life.
